IVEY
YARGER

Ivey Rooney Yarger began her career in Florida politics in 2011 working for the Florida Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association. She joined the Florida Retail Federation in 2013 upon the merger of the two associations. While at FPMA and FRF she acted as a “go between” for members and the association, tracked applicable state legislation and local ordinances, and aided in the planning and execution of PAC events.

In 2015, Ivey joined the Republican Party of Florida as the Deputy Finance Director. She was a member of the team that produced the inaugural Sunshine Summit and the largest attended Statesman’s Dinner in the past decade. Early 2016, she was named the Finance Director of the Republican Party of Florida. She oversaw the remainder of the fundraising activities for the 2016 cycle, including the RNC 2016 Convention Florida Delegation activities in Cleveland Ohio and the 2016 Victory Dinner.

Most recently, during the 2018 election cycle, Ivey continued her role as Finance Director for the Republican Party of Florida and expanded her role, participating as one of the lead consultants for multiple successful State House, State Senate, Congressional, and most notably Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ campaign. Ivey also participated on Governor DeSantis’ Inaugural Committee.

Yarger is a two time graduate of Florida State University and holds a B.S. in Political Science and a M.S. in Applied American Politics and Policy. She resides in Tallahassee with her husband.
